Christmas Tea Party

After last year’s successful tea party the organisers are delighted to be able to announce that they will be holding this event again on 8th December. There will be a chance to sing favourite carols, have a go at quizzes and enjoy a festive tea. It will be free to attend, however tickets will be issued. This will ensure there is an accurate idea of numbers for catering purposes and enough space in the hall. If you would like to come, tickets will be available from – Helen Chamberlain, Helen Brice, Eileen Lane or Liz Funning. Food contributions from KMC (a list will be provided nearer the time) will be gratefully received and volunteers to help in the afternoon would also be much appreciated.

One of the guests at last year's event commented: ‘What a welcome! A lovely Christmas atmosphere awaited the guests. The tables all decorated with crackers and central table decoration. The Christmas tree shining brightly in the room. Everyone was warmly welcomed and shown to a table. The tables were laden with nibbles, sandwiches (all labelled with flags to show their contents), cakes, mince pies and of course Christmas cake! Everyone enjoyed pulling the crackers and most wore the hats. Carol singing was enjoyed by all and having the words up on a screen was a bonus! All in all a great success. Thank you to all the organisers.’
